Office of Management and Budget

Client: White House Office of Management and Budget
The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is a body within the Executive Office of the President (EOP) which is tasked with coordinating United States Federal agencies. The OMB performs this coordination by gathering and filtering budget requests, by issuing circulars dictating agency management practices, and by reviewing agency regulations.

The objective — re-design of existing OMB web site, which had become outdated, convoluted, and complex. The primary challenge was designing the site and structuring the large volume of content in such a way that the reader wouldn’t feel overwhelmed or confused. The new Web site is equipped with increased accessibility and greater flexibility for future upgrades. It was also designed to a grid layout that could accommodate the large volume of content.
